I needed to get a couple birthday gifts for some friends and I called about 10 minutes past closing. Brie answered the phone and I was pleasantly surprised at her willingness to help! Since COVID and we have shelter in place I wasn’t sure the process but we did everything via text and I was able to pick up my gifts curbside with no issues! Fantastic customer service! They were very accommodating, patient, and helpful as I needed to pick up a last minute gift! All employees had masks and hand sanitizer galore was also available. Great service. Very friendly and professional. Stopped in for a watch battery replacement which was taken care of quickly on the premises. When it was time to pay, I learned that the service was free of charge, but that instead I could donate to a local charity they support, if I wished. How wonderful! This was a truly amazing experience! I have never dealt with any sort of jewelry repair, or truly a jeweler in general. The service and quality of work at Cooper & Binkley was top notch. I came in with two rings of my wife’s, both were her great-grandmothers. Both needed extensive repairs. The one is a very intricate and delicate wedding ring that my wife wears as hers. They both came back as totally different rings! It was astonishing. I could not be happier with the results. I could not recommend them enough. Well done!

I had a Christmas gift I was not comfortable putting on after some circumstances. So I thought this might be a long shot...but I wonder if they would let me exchange my jewelry? Mark the owner said of course we want you to wear something from us and enjoy it. I came in and Mark helped me and I left with a beautiful necklace and ring and still have some store credit for a rainy day. Beautiful jewelry very clean and pretty store. Every time myself and or my husband go into Cooper & Binkley’s we are greeted with nothing but kindness. They always remember us and the pieces that we like (we just bought a fun ring I have been looking at for months). They were able to do a rush fix on a ring my grandmother gifted to me so she could hopefully see the results before she passed. I have been going to Cooper and Brinkley for many years. I have been married almost 45 years They just put new prongs on my main diamond of my engagement ring and the other diamonds on the side. A delightful experience. The store is located in picturesque downtown Brighton and has been in business over 70 years. The building itself has been renovated but with care to keep the charm of its historical legacy. We were treated like family even though it was our first visit. There are also many extra perks such as a loyalty reward program ( we earned $30 towards a future buy with out purchase) but they also sometimes give “bonus” $ like for holidays, free gift wrapping, 10% off for wearing an ugly Christmas sweater ...I was also very impressed to see that they offer free watch repair with all donations going to the Chad Tough Foundation. There was a variety of options to choose from too in terms of price, style, ...I highly recommend this jewelry establishment-we really enjoyed the fun, welcoming atmosphere and plan to revisit soon.

Very friendly staff, even today when they were busy with an event. My ring fits and looks perfect now. Mark is also willing to sit with me at a later date to discuss ideas with other jewelry I have. The store also has unique pieces you won't find in the big box stores. Oh, and charges were minimal!

I'll still add another and say that this is some of the best costumer service I have ever received, above and beyond seems to be their motto! I didn't feel pressured as I had at other places and here they really spent the time helping me find the perfect engagement ring, not just trying to sell me the most expensive. I had a great time working with Kathy and all of their other staff is great as well!
I will definitely be using Cooper and Brinkley in the future. I had my ring sized down at another jewelers.. it was supposed to be 5.25 and when I got it back it just didn't feel right. I took it to Cooper and Brinkley just for them to check the size and they said it fell in between 5 and 5.25. Cooper and Brinkley took my ring and fixed it right on the spot at no charge!! Definitely something they didn't have to do since I've never used them before. They really went above and beyond to make sure my ring fit perfectly. Thank you so much! I never leave reviews but I have to give you guys props.
Husband lost his wedding ring of 10 years. We had it insured thank the Lord. We went to a few stores in Brighton with no luck. Cooper & Binkley Jewelers selection was amazing. This was a hard task to choose as there selection was so much more than most stores and the quality of the rings and the knowledge of the staff was outstanding. They handled everything with the insurance company too. We will be going back soon, as Christmas is right around the corner.
Everything you would want can be found at Cooper and Binkley's. Through the years we have purchased many nice things here. We go there because they are kind and friendly and creative. This trip was to have a chain repaired. We appreciate that they care about and are involved in the community and donate to many events. We like to just go in and look around and say hi. We would not go anywhere else.

The employees were extremely helpful and very thorough. They were able to make an amazing engagement ring for me on short notice and in time for a vacation that I was going to pop the question on. Like I said the employees were very helpful and asked about all the details that would go into making the perfect ring for my fiancé. They were able to get a variety of diamonds in a very short amount of time for me to choose from. From there they sized the ring and mounted the diamond on it for me to pick up about a day later. All the employees are extremely nice and friendly. Will definitely be going back for other jewelry needs!

Whether I'm going to purchase a new piece of jewelry or have one repaired, this is where I go. All of the staff is great and very knowledgeable. I never feel rushed and can always add something to my"wish list". Pricing is reasonable and if it's not in the budget there are less expensive alternatives. And even if I don't buy I'm still welcome to browse, get my rings cleaned and get a chocolate kiss.

I have two very special rings my children gave me 20 years ago this year for Christmas. One is yellow gold and says M❤️M, the other white gold, with 3 small diamonds; representing the past present and future.I had taken one ring to be cleaned up, and the other to have a decorative prong fixed. Upon picking them up, I was mentioning how long I had these, and the MOM ring having a couple near escapes; I can’t wear one without the other. The very kind salesgal suggested having them joined together; it would stop the movement of them rubbing together, which she could see already the ware on the white more delicate ring. I was so thrilled and thanked her for wonderful idea! I picked the duo up yesterday, and they are so beautiful standing together, without the gold ring spinning around. I can’t believe I never thought of it before. About 15 years ago I had my engagement and wedding ring melted down and diamonds and gold put into a bracelet. They did a magnificent job - it's absolutely gorgeous. I'd recommend this Jeweler anytime. They do lovely work.
We took my wedding ring of 31 years into Mark to have it resized and possibly reset. My ring was missing a few prongs and we were so fortunate my diamond wasn’t lost. We talked about a new setting with potentially adding two diamonds to the pear solitaire. I sent Mark a picture of my favorite and he reproduced it with my solitaire pear and two proportionate side pear diamonds. It is absolutely gorgeous and so what I wanted. I wanted something that was “me” and that is absolutely what he delivered. He didn’t try to do more than I wanted. He listened to me and my ring is “me”.

Purchased an Alex & Ani bracelet for a friend. Customer service was fabulous!! Had my 3 year old granddaughter with me and she was entertained with trains and when she was about to have an accident in her pants they were kind enough to let her use the bathroom which is not for public use. I was so grateful! I'm definitely going back. So many beautiful things in the store!
I came in the day before my mother's birthday to find a nice pendant. I was pretty nervous/anxious because I am not an experienced jewelry shopper, I had procrastinated way too long (her birthday was the next day), and I ended up getting there later in the afternoon than I had wanted. However, shortly after walking into their doors, I began to feel more comfortable. Everyone in the store was super helpful, going over what was in stock and what might be available for overnight delivery. More importantly, they all were focused on finding something that fit my desired criteria. I never felt pressured to look at anything I was not interested in.In the end, I went with a semi-custom made piece centering around a beautiful gem that the owner showed me while the manager and others were looking up other options. While I was there, I think I met everyone on staff, including the goldsmith, and felt like the whole place was energized to make things happen in time for my Mom's birthday the next day.It all worked out. We picked up the pendant on my Mom's birthday (on the way to a delicious dinner at Brighton Bar and Grill) and she was blown away by the beauty of her new pendant. Everything about this process went smoothly, and I am extremely happy with the pendant, which I believe I could stare at for hours... sinking into the beauty of its sparkly sublime blue zircon.

All of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They'll recognize you when you walk in the door, and help you any way they can. They have a great selection in the store, and if they don't have it they'll get it for you quickly. They also have a jeweler on site, so no need to wait weeks to get your ring resized.
All the staff at cooper-Brinkley were friendly and helpful. They fixed my ring and then went out of their way to ensure I didn’t have to make another trip. There was a miscommunication when I wanted the gold finish textured, but they took it back and the jeweler finished right away while I was still there. Love this place and will go again. Looking forward for to the trunk show!
